Sacramento Kings Honor Two EGUSD Teachers

SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Two Elk Grove Unified School District teachers were honored by the Sacramento Kings during a halftime ceremony last week.
Lori Osborne, a sixth-grade teacher at Zehnder Ranch Elementary School, and Lisa Bjorgum, a math teacher at Pleasant Grove High School, were both brought to center court, alongside their fellow Sacramento County District Teachers of the Year for a “salute to educators.”
The teachers were presented with personalized Kings jerseys and gift bags from Jamba. In addition, each teacher was treated to a reception at Sierra Nevada Draught House. They were joined on the court by county Superintendent of Schools David W. Gordon.
