Both Albiani Middle School and Pleasant Grove High School were briefly put on lockdown on Friday Jan. 17 after a student was reported to possibly be in possession of a weapon or contraband.

An Elk Grove High School student was arrested by Sacramento County Sheriff Deputies Thursday after a firearm was found in the student’s backpack, according to Sacramento Sheriff’s news release.
